Fact is, there are alot of people on this board that has rode without an endorsement. For years. None of us were there either so we don't know why he drifted. Pretty easy to hear a bit of a story and ad lib from there. I'd like to know more details. The man lost his leg. Isn't that punishment enough?
For all we know he finally realized what his wife looks like and aimed at the car.

Feel bad for him, but mixed feelings when they're riding illegally.
There is a lot of riders with motorcycle license that don't need to be riding, so riding illegally has nothing to do with him loosing a leg. God speed to him......

Is this the same Judd whose husband was arrested in Abilene TX a few years ago for raping an underage girl? Maybe she needs to go to Alanon. There's better guys out there.

Sorry he lost his leg, but why would someone rent them a motorcycle without an endorsement for riding. This is something I find hard to believe in todays lawsuit crazy world someone would rent them a bike.

I'm not going to judge the guy, he lost a leg and that's a lesson he has to deal with for the rest of his life.

If there are a lot on here that ride or rode without a license, I wouldn't spend a second feeling sorry for them either if something had happened to them. Losing the leg is definately punishment enough, but I'm not feeling any more sorry for him than I would for a car jacker that gets hurt in a wreck, a drunk driver that hits a pole, or a robber that gets shot. The person I feel sorry for is the guy he ran into. I don't care why he drifted. He had no business being on the road unlicensed.

Hey which do you think is worse for Wynona? Her husband losing a leg in a bike crash, or the fact that her 65 year old mom is hotter than her?

So you're saying an endorsement makes a person a good rider? I remember a thread recently about the guy that crashed and burned right across from the dealer. He had his license. You feel sorry for him? How about those that buy a bike right after they get their license and drop the bike in the parking lot. Hell, when I took my test, they offered to let everyone take it on a 50cc moped. How the hell does that test your skills? An endorsement doesn't mean ****.
What you're really saying is you could give a **** if the person has an endorsement or not. If they **** up, screw em.

No, I'm saying that if you have your endorsement you are LEGAL. It makes nobody a good rider any more than a drivers license does. If we all follow your line of thinking, nobody needs a license of any kind because it doesn't mean **** as far as you are concerned. An endorsement does mean ****. It means you are legally allowed to ride and it means you can get insurance. What I'm really saying, since you tried and got it wrong, is I don't give a **** about screw ups that had no right to be on the road in the first place. I have little sympathy for anyone that gets hurt doing something illegal especially when they involve others in their mess. Driving a car and riding a motorcycle on the roads is a privilage, not a right, and he had no business being on the road. He didn't have the right and he wasn't given and didn't earn the privilage. My pity goes to whoever was in the car. I said nothing about anyones skill level. I'm looking at the fact that he had no business being on a bike and getting hurt doing something that he had no right to do. You want to ride? Do it legally or else stay the hell off my roads.
