About half the people I've met down here in NC carry weapons. ( Some even bothered to get the CCW permits and everything. Most that I know didn't bother.)
Best to think before you throw down here tough guys...
Stupid people do stupid things. Throwing **** at cars is stupid. Who knows what kind of psycho is behind the wheel of that car. But for those of you stupid asses out there throwing nuts and bolts and bearings at cars, I hope you are the ones behind the vehicle that picks it up in their tires and slings it up and into your face later.
Dumb ****s.
... seen some wing mirrors taken off recently toot
I've done that to people that "objected" to me splitting lanes by trying to crush me.
Throwing sh*t at speed is pretty f-ing stupid... just too much risk once the projectile leaves your hand and you have no control over what or who it hits.
But a firm rap on top of a breakaway mirror to knock it off... that's different. And since they're sitting in traffic... I'll be 100 yards away before they even figure out what happened.
Also gonna second the opinion before that the OP was told #2 shot and either misunderstood or misheard.
Ball bearings? Nah. Now use a good sized glass marble....let that hit a windshield.... it busts up and then it's just broken glass......i.e. no evidence. Not that I've done it, but that was a recommendation once given to me, by a cop no less!
Besides that everyone knows you use large glass marbles. No evidence!
Yep, I admit it. Back in the late 60's into the early 70's I used to carry them. Yep, I admit it. I used to occasionally throw (as well as various pebbles, washers, etc)them up in the air.
Fortunately, I was never pulled over for it. But, riding times were different then.
If any of you people are really thinkin bout throwin crap at cagers for following too close, just think about this. What if these crazy MF decide to mow your a$$ down for throwin ****? Just get out of the situation if you can
a hand full of marbles work pretty good too. just make sure to through all of them before any cops catch up with you.
"they didn't come from me? some kids probably dropped them in the road then a truck probably threw them up,they could of came off the road from anywhere" LOL..
the drivers first reaction is stand on the brakes and figure out what is going on,by then your gone.

first thing is.. I'm not old school harley but.. like most people on this thread I'm sure he was serious and I fully believe that those who say they've done it.. have done it.. back in "the day".. it might very well have been an effective tactic.. but like someone else said.. it's a different world.. Personally.. I wouldn't do it.. I also don't tailgate and since I ride.. I'm very aware of bikes and drive accordingly.. but I will say this.. throw **** at my truck.. especially if my wife, my dogs or my kids are along... that'll guarantee you'll be seein' me again..
