Anyone who does such a thing, especially to his own child or stepchild, deserves a long, painful, brutally tortured existence at the hands of every sexual deviant in the prison courtyard. BUT, an allegation or accusation is not necessarily the truth. As cliche as it sounds, he is innocent until proven guilty. I've seen many men's lives ruined over false allegations raised for benefit of a family law case, or simply as revenge (face it, even if it's proven to be false, his life as he knows it is over, he'll always have a cloud hanging over his head). Let him have his day in court and an opportunity to defend himself. If then the accusation rings true, well, refer to my first sentence. But don't be so quick to hang him at this early stage.
I might add, anyone else who remains silent, while knowing something like that is going on, is just as guilty as the pedophile scum.

Anyone can make allegations to get anyone arrested. Look at what happens to you or others with X-wife's. The good thing is everyone is presumed innocent, the foundation & reason why I fought and other patriots have died for their Country. Once the truth is known and the person is tried in court and not on the news, judgement is handed down. I will reserve my own thoughts until than.
There is no excuse to violate a minor, especially one that is under your care and only 8 years (less than a marinara charge) does not seem near harsh enough. Again, reserve judgement than boil him in oil at the appropriate time if this proves true. Just my 2 coppers!
