Cool

For starters, you must be smarter than the equipment you are working with.

Don't pull in the clutch when looking for neutral, use the shifter only. I roll mine forward about an inch while pulling up the shifter from 1st, like I park it, without pulling in the clutch lever. makes it pop right into N.

Mine is much easier when the engine is running. Engine off takes a little bit to find neutral.

Not always a good idea, you wouldn't park your car in neutral and walk away would you? Same thing with your bike. Even on the stand she could still roll. Just my 2 cents.

1st like others said, rule out it being ur bike. Have the clutch adjusted just in case.

Then lets say u r all the way down and in 1st gear and are stopped.

(I do nto use a heel shifter.)

1) Pull the clutch in ALL the way.

2) Slide ur left toe under the toe shifter. <-- I find it helpful to slide ur toe FORWARD more than usual for normal toe shifting. in other words try to push ur left foot as forward as it can go.

When my RKC was new I had the same problem, I found sliding my foot as far underneath the shifter as possible gave me more ability to feel and move the shifter with a more exact motion. Now that it has 9,000 miles on it (since March ) it does much better.

come to a stop.
barely tap the toe shifter up a little.

it can sometimes take a while to learn the feel..

also a lot easier after I switch to Mobil 1 V twin oil in Pri and Mobil 1 75-90 in tranny.
