Any kind of tuner (EFM?) is better than the dealer download, which is done when there is no tuner installed. And with an auto tune function I can't see any need for that.
You didn't mention what you have added to your bike. The stage one download is only for Screaming Eagle parts. For example if you had Vance and Hines exhaust they would not do the stage one download.
Personally I think the stage one download is a bunch of crap.
