Welcome to the forum. I think you should go to a dealer and sit on some bikes to see how they feel. They offer you a test ride go for it, you don't have to buy anything. Best way to see what you can handle.
Hey there,
I am just starting to look for my 1st Harley. I've riden dirt bikes and stuff growing up so this isnt my 1st bike. My main concern is that Im a bigger guy 5'9 250 so I dont want a bike that I look to big for but I had my knee replaced last year so the weight of the bike is a concern to me. Any help anyone can give me would be great
Thanks
Do you have a license? If so, there are demo rides at:
Buckminns HD in Xenia, OH on October 6th
Grand Rapids HD, Hudsonville, MI October 20th
I think your license has to be at least a year old and you need a DOT helmet.
Go ride several harleys and see which one you want.
