I don't know the proper name but does anyone know of a device where you can put the front or back wheel onto a low profile set of rollers to rotate, and clean your wheels? Don't know if Harbor freight or Northern Tools would carry something like this. Didn't see any. Thanks
why not just put your bike up on a jack and clean them like that?
U must be young and have a good back..
I am also thinking take the money and put it toward a lift.. I've had the yelow HF lift for 6yrs now and though its not the best lift out there, its plenty good enough for storing U bike and wheel cleaning.
U'll get Ur whole bike up, make it a lot easier to clean the wheels and also use it to store U bike on in the winter.
Its better to take all the weight off Ur tires while in storage. Also its easier on Ur wheel and neck bearings.
Hey oct1949, you made me chuckle, yea, 57 years young. I have a jack but was just looking for something quick to do the wheels. The problem with my jack, is that I have to place the jack under the frame as far as I can and then try to set the bike ( Street Glide) level while holding it and using the foot pedal to pump up the hydraulics.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good jack but gets a little akward in doing it. I thought a roller stand would work better. That back wheel is a tough one to clean............

I had one of those roller things. Used it once. Couple of wheel rotations and it's tracking sideways. Reversing the rotation direction didn't really do any good. If the bike was stood up straight then it might stay in place. Found it was just easier to take the time and put it it on the lift.
