stop and go traffic
I was in stop and go traffic today for about 20min and were going about 15mph half the time. My motor put off some heat and it was only 74 out today. You guys in high traffic areas like cali and everywhere else, I give you props cuz I couldn't deal with that everyday for hours at a time..
Not sure if it's legal but if I tried to lane split people are jack asses here and would cut me off. Besides just 30 minutes I can just deal with it and never hit the highway at that time again. Any time besides between 7am and 8:30ish am and 4:30pm and 6pm it isn't stop and go. but I get why you lane split now. Before I thought It was idiotic. Although I will never try it. Lol..
we can't split lanes in Florida. On Main Street in Daytona the other weekend it was solid traffic and I had to turn off my engine a couple times because I was burning my legs. Need to get some crotch coolers.

Lane splitting is great. I'm from Texas (where it's illegal) and moved out here to Cali (where there is no regulation) and I'll have a hard time going back. Sometimes you get the jackwagon who tries to cut you off, but if you can manage to keep your balance a courtesy tap to their mirror or a small reminder with your boot on their door usually does the job. If I'm in an area where I can't split, I turn out as soon as I can to find a scenic route.

I think Cali is the only state that allows lane splitting. Pisses me off here in AZ when its 110 out and some accident has the freeway at a stand still.

Legal or not I'll do it in stopped or dead crawl traffic in high heat , just take a hard look around before I move and do it in slow spurts if I'm outa state . Been called on it a few times too told the cop a ticket is hell of a lot cheaper than a motor , got a bay boy lecture and on my way every time .
