Was that a radiator in front of a V-Rod?

[sm=joke.gif] [sm=boink3.gif][sm=confused06.gif]No I'm not ...

But serious dude, you had to expect a little ribbing since it is a Harley Forum.
At least you do ride..

And even more serious, Ride it safe...

Based on his other posts, I think Shane (justarider) is the real deal and not another troll.

Shane, there are frequent troll "attacks" on this board from metric riders so please keep that in mind and don't take it personal if someone thinks that you are yet another one. Your post seems harmless enough of course. But the trollsusually start off with something not-so-obvious in an attempt to bait a negative comment.Then when they get the first anti-metric comment, they pounce on it and things spiral out of control, which is exactly what they wanted. Yeah, it's stupid, never understood how that is "fun". But sometimes they put a link to the ugly thread on a metric forum and it makes us look bad, so I guess that's their goal.

This place isn't unfriendly to metric riders and of course you are welcome here. Heck, many of the forum members own both and MOST have owned a metric in the past, including me. If you enjoy motorcycles, then this is a great place to read some interesting stories and learn some stuff too. Of course, you have to expect that people here prefer Harley-Davidsons and so at times it will be a little bit like me (Miami Dolphins fan) attending a Buffalo Bills tailgate party. But I'm sure you understand that.

The VTX is a nice bike BTW. I have a friend that has one and he loves it.

Bitchin ride dude. I wouldn't call it an HD clone just because it is a v-twin. Much different engineering but bitchin just the same and as for "metric", they're all metric. Keep riding and keep smiling.

Welcome from another newbie.

Here is something I just thought of, If Honda can put a 1.8l litre v twin into a bike and make it sound not too bad, why don't they put it into their cars so they dont sound like a bunch of pissed off bumblebees?

I guess it's OK, if all you want to do is ride a motorcycle that looks pretty good and is dependable.

LOL, seriously, nice ride and always glad to hear from another rider.

It needs a bigger head light to fit the rest of the bike....change that out and you've got a decent looking scoot.

You've got a good looking ride there. I was parked up to one the other day and got talking to the rider, he was a very happy guy as I'm sure you are.
