Try turning your petcock off, and if that doesn't work, crimp off the fuel line with a pair of channel locks or something. If it's leaking while the bike is not running, it would point to the petcock probably being shot because it is vacuum operated to allow fuel to flow to the carb & not just gravity like the older petcocks. If the bike is running & fuel is leaking, you'll need to adjust the float.

Float is stuck. If you can get a long screwdriver on to a hardened part of the carb a (screw or something) give it a few easy raps with a hammer. I've had this trick clear more than one stuck float on a bike or an ATV when taking the carb off for a cleaning was not an option.Use some common sense on what you are hammering on and it is obviously going to need cleaned in the future.
