ok checking the list of what going on!!!the street parties do not give any directions to where on the street to go...water st and puddle mud? milwaukee st with pod? google anyone them and they run a long ways and not anywhere near each other.....
The Water St party centers around Water and Juneau St - basically 5-6 blocks north of downtown. Take the McKinley Pkwy exit off I-43 and head east to Water and park the bikes.
Milwaukee st will be around Milwaukee and Mason. That's just a couple of blocks east and south of Water/Juneau. From the west I would exit 794 on the Jackson/Van Buren exit and head north to Mason (3 blocks or so) and park the bikes.
I've been watching the bikes come and go at the LaQuinta Inn on Port Washington Rd the past few days, I work at the Monro repair shop right across the street. Some really sharp looking bikes over there! I stopped by the Wisconsin HD party in Oconomowoc for a bit tonight, not too bad and a great crowd. If anyone was there, I was the "kid" on the 95th anniversary Sporty

I hope you made it over to Brady st. It was insane. Made Daytona look like a church picnic. Wall to wall bikes, people, and bars.

I'll have to check out Brady St. next time. I decided to stay at the Milwaukee St. party last night. Had a great time and saw my new favorite band Leogun. Yeah its a strange name, but this trio from England is going to be big. Check 'em out.
You can't make what you said go away on the email notification!
That said - I agree. There were so many free parties and happenings that we never saw a need to pay for the entry to the Summerfest grounds. If there was a particular band playing that you wanted to see, I get it. But as I was telling my good friends that visited from Chicago - we do that all summer long for way less money at Summerfest, Festa, Irish Fest, Bastille Days, etc. So for a local to pay what amounted to $40 a day to get to one of many many venues offered, just didn't make sense to me.

Tons going on all over the place, bikes everywhere and a great fricken time.
Had a chance to briefly see Katie Sagal (from Sons of Anarchy) sing at Summerfest grounds. She had a guest too, White Buffalo who sings several SOA songs for the show. Very cool show!
ZZ Top played for must have been less than an hour, because the time I got there around 10:30 or so, it was all over.
Block party on Water Street on Sunday night was fun, tons of people and bikes.
Met a couple of riders that shipped their bikes over from Netherlands - they put on 9,000 miles here in the USA in about 5 weeks. That was awesome to meet them.
Bummer that its all over.
