The seat sat to high with those stupid springs anyhows and did nothing to keep me from sliding off it. I'm going with Badger's idea on this one. I tossed the springs and fabricated some solid rear mounts. I bent the front of the seat downwards and tomorrow I'll curl the back of the seat up. Last will be to cut the lacing off the leather, rip out the foam and stitch it back on the bare pan. I think that should do it.

Follow up...I put the LaRosa seat in a press and rolled the back part of the seat up:
It looked like it would clear any rear fender issues with the movement of the rear fender. That is until I started jumping up and down on the seat. The "roll" quickly worked it's way out. Epic fail. It's pretty obvious that LaRosa uses some pretty thin gauge pan steel in it's seats. I sent Brian of Sinister Seats some photo's and measurements of what I need and I'll go from there.
No problem with trying it. It would prolly work just fine if I could come up with some longer rubber frame stops. The ones on mine are already 1 3/8". Some 2" would be perfect.
