To give an update as to what happen..there was a post a few weeks back................
I bought some slip-ons from a fellow member at which the same time another member bought my stockies. My new ones came to me and my stock ones got boxed up, label made and ready to ship just sitting in my garage. Long story short, I didnt ship them out but every so often kept in contact telling him I such and I'll still get them out but never did so I refunded his money. About 3 days or so after I did, I found out that he had posted about it "calling me out" if you will. Not a problem, I would too..lol.
So there you have it.
You really did screw up dude!
Didn't anyone teach you to stick to your word even if you made a mistake.
You made a deal, he sends you the money, you sit on it and later decided against honoring the deal ?
Bad move! Your word is worthless to anyone who knows about this.
Eventhough you gave the money back you owe him more than an apology.
IMO you best be sending him a gift certificate or something to make it right.
I remember the first thread about this and it wasn't weeks ago it was nearly six months ago. As I recall, the member said he posted it as a last resort borne out of frustration, and as a warning to the rest of us here. I also remember him saying that he wasn't the only one having this problem. As memory serves, the member also provided a link to the e-mails outlining his efforts to get the slip-ons he bought from you or his money back. The responses from the other end was from someone who clearly was just dicking the buyer around.
Or, are you simply someone else?
I don't trust easy. I especially don't trust someone who has dicked another rider around. Nuff said.
Hmm don't think that was all me. I've only bought/sold one thing here and the selling part obviously didnt go well. Think what you want but I didnt dick him around and he never asked for his money back.
