Have a 2012 Fatboy,little over 1k miles.
Had complications from knee surgery, and have not been able to ride for over 6 months.
Had 1/2 tank of gas,put in Prolong gas stabilizer about 5 months later, when I could do it.
When I can ride,in a couple of months, should I just add fresh gas to old and start her up?
Thanks for any info.
That's all I would do. Hard to beleive these new bikes dont have a petcock to turn off the fuel. I try to run the gas out of everything I can prior to storage. Corn is for food!!!
Agree with the others...you should be good. I would also recommend getting your bike off the ground if you haven't already done that. Good luck with the knee!

As long as the battery is charged it should start right up. Ride it to the gas station and fill up with fresh gas...then go for a long ride.
