Default Re-chroming!!

Does anybody know of a good place in Kentucky (or anywhere in general) that does quality chrome work? I've got a set of handlebars that need re-chroming.

Brown's is the first name that comes to mind in Kentucky. I haven't done any business with them so don't know how they are.

Browns must be good. They have been there for 45 years.

Thumbs up Chromer

I second the nod for Browns. They did a bunch of stuff for me, including engine parts, outer primary cover, cam and timing covers, a swingarm, forks, headlight nacelle, and dozens of smaller parts.

The had reasonable prices and fantastic turn-around time.

I need the same thing done to my bars.

Couldn't find no prices on that web site. Don't know how much trruth to this but have been told probably cheaper to change bars than re-chrome.

I've been using Brown's since I started riding in the late 70s. They take the time to do proper surface prep and clean small passages that could otherwise get clogged with plating buildup (like carb float bowls and threaded holes). None better as far as I'm concerned, and I've tried a bunch.

Another vote for Brown's Plating in Paducah, Ky. I first used them in 1973 and used them again in 2012 to have my exhaust muffler re-plated. The do great work!
