Seriously, why is there always someone with a little ***** who has to post in trailer threads to try to prove to the rest of the world what a badass they are?

I would get bigger than what you think you will need. Trying to tie them all down is a pain in the butt if they are too close together. I would imagine a 8 x 20 ft trailer is what i would look at. you may have to stagger them with the fairings. I would also suggest self locking wheel chocks, makes it a ton easier to tie down when you can get off it and it will stand up on its own. i also find it easier to take off the inside saddle bag when you are tying down the bikes, its alot easier to move around the bikes.

My brother has a 28ft we use for going to FL. One year we had a Road Glide, Street Gilde, Ultra Limited, Tri-Glide,Goldwing and a Suzuki Intruder in it. One thing to remember when trailer shopping is that its alot easier to haul a trailer only 3/4 full then it is to haul a trailer 1 3/4 full. Think of it like a garage. It could always be bigger.

I have an 8.5x16 Interstate Cargo (non V-nose) and it's the perfect size for 4 Glides - 2 rows, side by side, no staggering necessary. Plus it'll hold more gear then I've ever needed to haul along. Two ElectraGlides will not fit side by side in anything narrower without staggering.
Works great for those winter get-aways to points south where there's no snow and ice. Mines been to Vegas, Laughlin, and Phoenix so far. Love it.

I bought a new Haulmark 7X16 enclosed cargo trailer in 2007. I ordered it with 3/4" plywood walls, front wheel chocks and tie downs for 4 bikes. It will hold 4 Harleys of any size side by side with tons of room left for gear and other stuff. I have used it on a bunch of long distance events and it is great to have a mobile garage, barracks and emergency hauler.

Coming back from an event in phoenix a few years ago, we picked up 3 broke down bikes, filled up the trailer and had to put one in the bed of the truck. None of those guys sneered at my trailer, they were quite happy to throw their bike in the back!!

I went with the 7' wide versus the 8' for better rear vision and the 8' was just too wide. It has been a great trailer and well worth the money. i pull it with a 06 Chevy Duramax but any of the 1/2 ton trucks should have no problem pulling it.

The length of the Electra Glide Ultra Limited FLHTK is 98.60 in. (2504.44 mm) and the width is 38.0 in. (965.20 mm

A bro' in our crew bought a 7 1/2' X 14' v-nose haulmark. we were able to fit only 3 touring bikes. The front wheel for 1 bike needed to be secured up in the v-nose quite a bit, and in the middle. The v-nose is not included in the length. We secured the bikes with BikePro chocks and D-rings mounted in floor & also connected to floor bracing. We did have enuf room for the rest of our gear, but it was NOT roomy @ all.

There is NO WAY a 4th touring bike will fit into this style of trailer and remain parallel to the C/line of the trailer.

That being said, 1 may make 4 bikes fit but it would require mucho alterations to the bikes. (removal of mufflers, saddle bags, rails & handlebar lowering, ect.)

As can be seen, a touring bike is over 8' long. For 4 touring bikes to fit securely and safely and leave some room for gear, a 16' v-nose is needed.

Our crew has "Been there & Done that" as far as trailering is concerned. We went with 3 touring bikes in the 14' enclosed v-nosed trailer and had a softtail secured in the back of the crew cab pickup we towed with.

Our crew is apparently pussies too, as it was -30 the morning we left northern MN to TX for a ride and we hauled our touring motorcycles. BTW, for the entire ride we did in TX, it never got warmer than 55deg. We were going to stop in Dallas and ride from there, but being pussies and they was 6" snow along the road, the pussification continued until we got to Brownsville and it had warmed to 50.

Speaking of trailering, I posted a question here a while ago about how to tie down my bikes cause I never did before, I want to thank you guys, my bikes never moved an inch all the way to Florida. BUT..my chevy sure worked hard in Kentucky and Tennesse mountains....holy crap...I was getting passed by Kenworths...
