Ditto. A lot more power and dries much faster.

JMO, but anyone using leaf blowers & air compressors for drying their scoots are just asking for trouble.

Leaf blowers have nothing on inlet to prevent picking up debris (i.e. sand, rocks, etc.) so, in essence, you're working with a potential sand-blaster...not to mention shooting anything stuck inside the fan shroud/tube. All it takes is one distraction & the blower becomes a shooting range.

Air compressors blow "narrow" high-pressure stream so this can cause you to "force" water where it doesn't belong (gaskets, seams, etc.) causing "hidden" problems later down the road.

No - I'm not a vehicle dryer sales rep and "yes" I do own an AirShammy (gift from wife). My wife wanted to "speed" my drying time so we had more time for other things ( ) and she felt it would do the trick...which it does. OP just posted their experience on a particular product so why not "take it for that" and not be "critics" on how people spend their dough...do we question how much you spend on shiny bling as well??

OK...done for now so...blast away!

Not trying to flame ya here Iceman, but no air filter?......that's all you got?
Me: $10 garage sale Toro leaf blower. Dries bikes, hot rods, or anything that's wet. And it's never ever sandblasted a single custom paint job I have.
PLUS it herds leaves into neat little piles every fall, sweeps my deck and keeps the walk clear. Try that with your Airshammy, my man.
I give my Toro a 12 (out of the OP's possible 10).

Been using leaf blowers for years and never had a scratch from them. Like many said 5-10 min and your dry. I don't need a warm puff of filtered air to dry my bike.

I could fart on the bike and dry it faster than 40 minutes.

Where do you plan on drying you bike off, in the middle of a sandstorm?!? If that much "debris" can get sucked into a leaf blower in my garage or driveway, I'd be more worried about breathing it.

Ya know, air from an air compressor doesn't retain its small tunnel like blast. All ya hafta do is back up a few feet and it's like a leaf blower without the fumes. Honestly some people just have more money than they so sense. If that offends anyone, I'm sorry. Well, no...I'm actually not lol.

I work 2 days a week at the local HD dealer, washing yer bike after service is done. Not a bad gig for a retired guy. Money feeds my Harley habit. We use a Blaster there. Best feature: You're only holding and directing a hose, not a motor and stuff. And that makes a difference when you're doing 7 or 8 bikes a day. Thing works good, and air is warm. But, I use the detachable blower from my Craftsman vac at home. This AirShammy sounds good. Maybe I'll suggest it for the shop when the Blaster dies.

I think I can hand dry in 40 min. Stihl leaf blower for me if it takes me more than 5 min. it's because I had to squirt the grandkids with the hose while drying

Gawd why ya gotta be a Richard???? They guy likes what he bought, shared it, just like a lot of other people do here. Honestly some people just have more money than they so sense. What does it matter to you what anyone spends their money on? I'm quite sure you have spent your money on stupid stuff yourself......Take that nighttrain wreck for instance.

If that offends you, I'm sorry. Well, no..I'm actually not.

I may have to put this on my Xmas list. Then I might not be afraid to actually take a hose to the bike.
