It's a good read, wish we could legally do it in all 50 states.

Actually just guidance, doesn't look like it is enforceable...yet...I do it everyday to and from work...not sure the benefit is worth living in this state though

Not legal in Michigan and I wouldn't do it if it was.

Most people that say this would probably change thier mind when trying to transition from the 405 to the 101 after work

yep...used to do the 5, 405, 605, 105...Orange county to LAX

I would do it but some of the roads in the Bay area are too small to split. But somehow people in their touring bikes do it.

But isn't Cali the nanny state according to many of you? Why isn't it legal to lane split in your state? Damned government intrusion.

Actually, when traffic is at a stand still, there's not a whole lot of danger to it if your only going 10 - 15 MPH. Blowing through traffic at 55+ when the cars are moving at 25+ is asking for trouble.
