That's just for night time. During the day, I wear a pair of sunglasses made to fit over a pair of prescription glasses. About $14 at wallmart. Wouldn't leave home without them.

I have the Scorpion 1/2 with the internal shield and like it. Comfortable helmet and shied works well in all but the brightest days. Visor is great when riding into the sun. Also have the HJC IS-2 which as was stated, the HD helmet without the $50 logo. And it comes in colors if that's what you want.

I have the Scorpion half helmet with drop down visor and I love it. Great for local and hot summer days. With my bifocals it is perfect. Immediately sold my Harley half helmet after I rode with it once.

Scorpion 100 here too. Love the drop down. I will ride the back roads home from work and leave the shield up .... until I see an on coming dump truck! Click, down!

Gotta be honest, the HD one I have is overpriced. ($125.00) If I knew then what I do now, I would have probably gone with the scorpion. I bought a full face matte black with a visor inside it for under half that price and it works great too . Yea I got took by the dealership. That mistake wont be made twice.

Thumbs up helmet

I don't have an Outlaw but I do have the Harley version. The drop down eye protection is very cool. It is nice when it is cold out because it really helps keeping my eyes from watering, and in the rain it keeps the water off of my glasses and much easier to see. No complaints on the helmet from my end. Love it.

I use this one from Leatherup -

http://www.leatherup.com/p/Outlaw-He...ls/165108.html

It has the visor and I used to use it all the time with sunglasses. But then I gave up my contacts and went back to glasses. Then I went with goggles and now I only use the visor once in a while, like if it start to rain (the goggles are transition) or the sun is exceedingly glaring. Some times I'll pull it only partially down and it acts sort of like the glare strip at the top of a vehicle windshield.

The pull down half helmet visor goes down far and covers well. the mechanism itself is hard to operate with gloves but it is a decent lid for the price. The main thing is the location of the visor pull down is right where the strap for the helmet is making it tough to move. Might be better after more use.
