I'll see if I can get the digital camera home sometime this week. I'm going out of town for a few days, but will be back Thursday. I'll get some pics posted, just give me some time.
I got the idea, from the J&P cycles catalog, they have a kit to raise the front of the fuel tank for Dynas and softtails, but not for our touring.
I just made two seperate brackets with 1" x 2" x 1/8" thick steel, and bent a 1/4" step in the center, then drilled the 1/2" holes 1 1/2" apart on each end, then welded a 3/8" nut on the back. Used the stock bolt for the bottom frame mount, then used a stainless 3/8" bolt for the tank mount. Worked pretty good, and I like the way it added a upswept look to the bike.
Those aren't bad...though higher than I personally would go, (I think), I wonder if they have an 8 inch? They look alright IMHO because of the full sized windscreen. If you chopped the windscreen you'd be outside the lines of the bike again...
My opinion, no offense met to anyone. I would like to see them in person.
TNW, I have a set of Chubby's on my bike and I swear by them.
