A little short ride just will not be enough. After riding a 124" bagger for a few years, what I was looking for in a ride, was just what I got, fear and a shoulder ache.It is going to be a treat dailing this bike in.
Steve, one of the things you will have totry on the 155" this spring is a roll-on,just be careful. This motor makes 140 lb tq at 2500 rpm
I am not sure what it costs assembled, and you have several options natural, polished, street and strip etc.By the time I was done with everything I needed to run it, plus a case of oil,it was around $11K.If you do go with the unnassembled TwinCam,they have to set the flywheels(because of special HD bearings)also the cams, and oil pump(because of special tools). The Ronzello familyare all professionals,as is their staff.Youwould walk out of there feeling very confident.I did and have been building Harley motors for over 35 yrs.
I forget to say, that once I climbed off the Beast,It was almost an hour before I calmed down.Just the kind of ride I have always wanted!!!!!!!! Yee Ha.We definetly have to get together this summer.I see you are in Biddeford,I am in Windham. In a few minutes will call Zippers and talk about my transmission, and having the gears back cut.Once the trans is done the bike is going together
One of my good friends is moving to Windham this year, so I'll be up there quite a bit. Plus I'll be working right in Portland, and I go to Big Moose all the time..........so Windham is just around the corner.
Great, let me know when you head to Manchester.Send me your Email address and I'll send you some pictures. The frame had to be modified to accept the 1 1/8" taller motor. That took a long time, and I had a master at fabrication do mine here in Gray, just a couple of miles from here.
