the wife wants to take a trip to Milwaukee to tour the powerplant factory, the PBR brewery, and the HD Museum. She wants to stay at the Iron Horse hotel. Anyone stayed there or have thoughts on this trip in general? We will be going in June. I would like to rent a Road Glide (since it will be my next bike) while we are there for a day and take a day trip. Any suggestions on where to rent from or a good ride to do 2 up with sights to see?

I did all you mentioned. The steel toe tour is a must do at the engine plant. The iron horse hotel is very nice and 2 blocks from the museum. I didnt rent a bike. Too drunk from the brewery. Enjoy
There's more than just those two, depending on where you'll be:
Ukes HD
Hals HD
Wisconsin HD
Suburban HD
Water Street is great for the night life and bar scene, and there's the Historic Third Ward. Miller Park and the art museum (The Calatrava) are cool from a design/engineering standpoint
Holy Hill is a must see on a bike, along with riding in Lake Country in general.

Ukes is in Kenosha. I wouldn't consider that Milwaukee. Racine HD is closer, but also not Milwaukee.
If you like Baseball catch a game at Miller Field.
When you see those machines take a blob of metal and spit out a machined, precision, polished cam shaft out the other end of the machine while spitting out scrap shaved metal pieces your jaw will drop.
where the best place to rent a bike from? if I can find one that will drop it off at the hotel that would be ****. Cost isnt a factor, convenience and guarantee of a ROad Glide is. If I book one and I get there and all they have is a RK or soft tail, I will be pissed. I want to rent a RG so I can be sure its what I want on something more then a 15 minute demo ride. we would like to cover a couple hundred miles if possible.
