I cannot find the info on how to relocate the indicators for turn signals. I want to add an LED or something to my windshield, so I do not have to look down at the tank to see if I left the switch on.
Can someone please give me the correct terminology for this?
Although, I have not seen anything around that you're looking for. Why not just tap into the signal indicators under the dash, or at the front signals themselves, and run out to a connector (you'll need to disconnect if you remove your shield) and then to LED indicators that you select and mount on the shield? When replacing turn signal bulbs with LEDs, there is a need for a load equalizer. I don't believe it would be necessary when just adding an LED to the circuit. Just be sure you're not adding too many watts (which seems it would be difficult to do without trying IMHO).
