I'm thinking about buying a Road Zeppelin seat. Is the compressor built into the seat? Also,I have an adjustable HD backrest and am wondering if I can use it with the Zeppelin. Thanks.
Yes, the compressor is built in. Just plug the seat into the acc plug by the battery. Can turn on the compressor with the acc switch next to the cruise switch. I have the a rider's backrest and that works just great. Same split in the seat as the stock seat. Zeppelin seat will sit a little higher than stock until broken in a little. Seat is very nice for longer rides.
I think it is at least the same as stock or even farther back. I use the backrest on most long rides so have plenty of room. I actually had this seat on my 99 Ultra and transferred it to my 2007 Ultra without any problems. I use the Harley leather care on the seat and still nearly looks like new...very soft.
PM me if you want to talk over info about this seat.
take care......weather is looking pretty good for this next week.

Have a Road Zeppellin Air Ride seatthat has been on the bike for only one ride for sale. In the Harley book for $800. Will sell it for $500. Have short legs and when blown up with air, hard for me to reach the ground. It is a VERY comfortable seat.
