Rear brake drag into intersection until traffic cleared...right into the middle where all the sand, dirt and crap has gathered after winter. Started to turn left and lost control of rear wheel...don't recall exactly what happened next but I think I grabbed some front brake...chin bit the windshield and bike went over on right side. My smart *** embarrassed self hopped up and did the "safe" sign, like I just slid into home. Couple guys hopped out of cars and helped me get her back up...I think I was in a shock state.
Anyway, looking at my swollen, bloody chin in the mirror thanking God I wasn't going faster and there wasn't more traffic made me think of all those who have had it worse and never got back up. So my deal was really nothing in the grand scheme of things cuz it could always be worse. Just glad the kids weren't riding
With me.
I say "legitimately" this time cuz the last time the bike fell over after the kickstand popped back up when I kicked it down. Ha! That was nothin!
Be proud ya did as good. War scares are cool. Glad all is good. That is why I hardly ever go 2 up. Just cant control an emergency near as well 2 up. Ride safe friend.
