Oh Yes I have. That is why I moved to Wisconsin. Best Cop Around. Jack Frost.

Like most on here I wouldn't leave my bike in a major city. I park my bike in a parking lot everyday, when at work, in a small city and it has never been molested.

If I can't park in a location with good visibility and pedestrian traffic, I will use a non-branded cover overnight, in a risky location. Maybe I will do that the next time I park at the airport.

I have left my bike parked in the Charlotte garage, and even left my full face helmet attached to the bike with a bike chain/master lock. It is no more likely to get stolen from there than any other parking garage. And I park in parking garages quite often. I cant be paranoid about it being stolen every time I park it, any more than I can be paranoid that someone will steal my car every time I park it. I lock the bike, lock the bags, and lock the forks, if that isn't enough, then it's not enough.

Around here, it's the Japanese Sport bikes that get stolen and chopped up, You don't hear about Harleys getting stolen. In fact, I don't know anyone who has had a Harley stolen.
