Default BProblem with ignition

Hello everyone,

I have HD FXDBI (Dyna Street Bob) 2007 m. and it has one problem. When you ride with it and fast give acceleration bike has stopped. Work only front light. When I turn off and turn on bikes barring key everything start to work again, but when I fast got acceleration situation is the same. Moreover on the neutral position bike don't loose ignition and everything works, only in the riding mode and only when get fast acceleration it lost ignition. I thing that this problems is tided with ECM, but maybe someone have the same problem and really knows theres is solution of this problem?

P.s . sorry for my English, but i suppose You will get a point of the problem. And many thansk for those who will help me

One of the first things I would check are the connections at the battery. Ensure everything is tight at the battery, then check other connections make sure they are tight.

Default Electrical Problems

After the battery connections are checked I would start testing circuits. Sounds like a pinched wire somewhere...Handlebars been changed ?

Some connection of electricity I check and handn't found any problems. Handlebar is not original its changed. I forgot to write that when you ride and gradually reach the speed, you can ride with bike all day and on the full speed if you want, but for example I ride about 80mph and I want bypass some cars, that required abruptly increase acceleration, in this situation after quickly rotation of the acceleration handle, bike instantly lost ignition still working only front lamp and horn, everything else looks like lost of the electricity.

I'm thinking maybe when you accelerate quickly, the engine flexes more on it's rubber mounts & causes a wire somewhere to short out by pulling it.

First of all you have to check battery connections, the you have to check all other wire connections. And then if you don't get what is the problem then you can give your vehicle to the service center to repair it. And I want to give you one advice that you have to use purified oil or lubricant for long life of your vehicle's engine.
Good Luck.

Sorry to point out the obvious...but based solely on your description of the problem it is probably in the Right throttle grip area. The only reason that I say this is...this happens only when you quickly and fully twist the throttle and the Kill Switch is in the same control unit. Also you mention that the HORN and the HEADLIGHT also continue to work...LEFT hand grip/Control unit. If I had to hazard a specific guess, it would be that you have a short in the kill switch/wiring to the kill switch.

Ohh, I forgot, if it were a battery connection, then you would have no power anywhere.

Thanks for advice. I will try to check all electricity one more time. About Roses idea I think that if problem would be in Right throttle grip area and in kill switch motorcycle also lost electricity/ignition in neutral position when I quickly and fully twist throttle but know it lost electricity only in ride mode.

Moreover I would like to ask maybe someone have FXD electricity scheme in pdf?

Well if that don't beat a hog a fartin', every time we come up with a viable explanation he comes up with a new symptom. Oh, well. I tried.
