I have been a motorcyclist since 1956. My goal for retirement was to ride all the states. When I retired I started doing that, but on the metric brands that I had over the years.
In Aug. 06 I decided it was time for a Harley. I got a new 07 FXSTC at that opened my thinking that I had been missing something. The look, the ride and general feeling was intoxicating. I had what was considered the best such as the Honda Rune. It wasn't even close.
That started my next goal which was to have at least one of each family. Today I completed that goal. I added an 11 Sportster XL1200L. It was a private sale from a guy in his 80's that decided it was time to give up riding alone with his wife telling him to.
So that gives me Sportster, Dyna, Softail, Vrod, Touring with batwing and fixed fairing and a Buell thrown in.
The only thing he had done to it was the windshield and highway pegs. The warning sticker was still on the ac. It is a peppy runner and agile.
Very impressive quiver you have there. It does look like you are missing Hawai'i for the 50? Big Ilsand has the best riding IMO. After that, i say start going for US Territories. . . Guam, Samao, Puerto Rico . . . and really complete the full US ride.
My next bike will be a Sportster XL1200L. Those bikes are just outright awesome. You are a very lucky man!
