HJC RPHA 10 or an ICON helment. ICON's are ECE rated which is approved for track use in Europe, buy you probably dont care about that>

I have an HJC CL16 but with my short 2-1 exhaust I pretty much can't ride with the face shield down without exhaust reverberation rattling my brain. When I ride with a half helmet it's no problem. I took the face shield off and have been riding that way sometimes, and my Vega half sometimes.

I've been considering getting a Biltwell Gringo because they look a whole lot better without a face shield than the HJC that leaves the exposed hinges and all.

Maybe your Bell 500 is too big.

I have lift issues with the Bell above 65mph. I took my biltwell to 90mph this morning with Zero lift issues.

I have a Shoei Multitek modular helmet I wear most of the time and a Shoei RJ Platinum Air 3/4 I wear if it's very hot. Both are all day comfy which is key. Another thing is color, that cool flat black or gray helmet, coupled with your cool black jacket is going to make you all but invisible in low light conditions. Do yourself a favor and go with white or yellow or even Hi Viz if you're bold, anything to draw the eye of your fellow motorists.

Being Invisible is not good....

The back of my head is flat as a pancake. The head shape chart doesn't give me a better idea of what helmet is best for me. My Shoei x-11 is comfortable as hell in XL. Not sure if I shoulda chosen one size smaller....

No I dont think I could go any smaller. I think I just have an odd shaped head. Maybe I was dropped on it too much as a kid, lol. I tried on 3 sizes just to make sure.

I live in AZ and bought a HJC RPHA-10. Helmet vents awesome, but still gets a little warm. I mean I live in the desert, haha.

I have a HJC CL-16 which is SNELL approved. I was pretty inexpensive, I want to say around $125.

Amen.
Our government, which effectively put in competition our factories, which have to comply with 1000 regulations (and put $$ in US workers pockets), with theirs, which have no respect whatsoever of any of them (and bleed $$ out of US), and which blatantly steal intellectual property from US, are not to be forgotten, in the blame feast.

Yes there is, actually. Many full-faced helmets have vent placement designed for sport bike riding, assuming the rider is in a bent forward position. Riders sit upright on cruisers. Shoei touts that the Qwest is designed for a more upright riding position. I own a Qwest, which I generally like. Still, I don't think the venting is as good as I would like it to be.
