It's funny that before I joined this forum I didn't know riding double was a bad thing. Me and my friends used to ride double all the time. If a bunch of us had bikes and one buddy didn't then he'd just jump on with someone else, nobody thought a thing about it.
To the OP. Just go for it, don't give it a second thought.
OK , been reading this forum for awhile ..
question ??
I need to take my 50 year old son to renew his MC endorsement .
(dummy let It expire)
Now we can ride double to the dps , or take two vehicles.(80 mile round trip)
I chose to ride double , but according to this forum that is "gay"
I just need permission from you posters to ride double and not be scorned/flamed.
He did ride with me when he was 5-6 years old , and it was not a social problem.
Now , I understand times have changed , and I want to be sure it is OK , with you guys.
I guess the people on here that are concerned with the clothes you wear, who made your jacket, how many miles you rack up, if you're a poser or not, and such things will consider it gay, but those of us that simply ride and don't give a shi!! what those wannabe bikers think won't mind a bit who is on the back of your bike.
I wouldn't give it a second thought. On occasion I have gave rides to my Dad or one of my grown sons, who all ride their own usually.I have a (almost)15 year old grandson who is 6'2" 170# that still likes to ride with me.I couldn't care less what people think, I'm just glad he isn't ashamed to be seen with me at his age.
