Never lived where I felt I needed one. I DID remove the long "dangling" idle speed adjustment screw from my Mikuni carburetor, as I suspect that, from time to time, some joker would turn it out of spite or curiosity, messing up my idle speed.

Yeah I was just thinking that (after I got the locking fuel cap) it would be just as easy for some joker to drop a piece of gravel of some coins in the oil cap and ruin your day really fast! Could be at a bar or the mall? Just can never tell why cowards mess with your ride?
Never had anyone mess with any of my rides. Never had anything stolen off of any of my rides. Never leave my bikes out of my sight most times unless locked in the garage. Had gas stolen out of the boats parked in the yard once. Fixed those thieves.
Really? Don't forget the valve stems.
Somebody hate you that much? Are your pipes and throttle hand that obnoxious?
A-hole concentration must be pretty thick where you live.
Might wanna move.

Not sure about the A-hole pop. But I'm just overly cautious. I use to have custom cars and trucks when I was younger and some how the "Haters" would mess with them. (Too afraid to come at me I guess ) So they go after my ride.
Not so much now that I'm older and not in the ego scene, but old habits are hard to let go.
I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Yeah I figured it was costly! But most things are for Harley. And although I have insurance that would cover the bike should anything happen? This is still less then the deductible that I'd have to pay to get the transmission repaired.
So I ordered on today.
