My shocks were low on air so I stopped by the local dealer to get them pumped up. Free of charge of course.
They were having their 50th anniversary. So, you could spin the a wheel of fortune to get a discount. I had no time for that. I was meeting people and I was running late because I had to stop and get air.
My buddy text and said he would be a half hour late, so I spin the wheel. I get 20% off. I spend $600 because I stopped to get free air. Go figure.
LOL! Yesterday AM I went to local dealership -- free donuts/biscuits/coffee, met with the guys I'm riding to Sturgis with to finalize some details, attended the HOG chapter meeting and won a $25 gift certificate, grabbed a free sausage po-boy, chatted with some friends, spent another hour browsing thru the antique/custom car show the dealer hosted in the parking lot, then some more time watching the Hooters girls wash bikes (not mine) -- all together I was there ~3.5 hours. Lots of folks there, dealer obviously had a good day, lots of money was spent -- but none of it was mine (this time <g>).
