Found my grand daughter at seven years siting on top of my Ultra in the garage. I yelled so loud the seat needed cleaning after I pulled her off of it. I don't think she will ever sit on a bike unassisted again.
I stopped at their house today to take my 7 year old for a ride. She got suited up and I strapped her helmet on and said, "stay away from the bike till I come out". "OK daddy."
My ex's boyfriend was showing me a pic of some pedophile they dealt with earlier and not 10 seconds later I hear her screaming.
I ran out front and she was on the ground and the bike was on the right side. She was ok with not a scrape. The bike on the other hand, snapped front brake lever, bent right side mirror, big gouge in the front fender, bent rear brake arm and scraped the crap out of the right saddle bag.
Poor kid was so upset saying she was the worst daughter ever. I was mad mind you, but it was heartbreaking seeing how upset she was. Limped the bike home and after 90 minutes or so I straightened the bent items, touched up the fender and got the saddlebag looking ok. Ran back over to their house and gave her her ride. She was so happy and it made my day!
Well Did You learn a lesson?? Next time Hurry your A$$ up, nothing worse than telling a kid your going to take them for a ride and then they have to stand around WAITING for You!! lol

Reason: ............
Saw on the local news yesterday that a one year old down in Phoenix was exploring around the house and pulled a 40" T.V. down on top of it. They said the kid was in Children's Hospital in pretty bad shape. You can't take your eyes off the lil ones for even a second. Glad the OP's daughter is OK and got her ride.
