Help me out guys
I am the husband. You all are right. She does tend to over think things sometimes

But I am cool with that, we have had the bike just over a year now and she is finally going on longer rides with me. When we first got it she refused to even get on it. But now I think she is actually enjoying riding

She bought her first Harley Shirt today and even ordered some Harley Boots. I am so proud.
A little about me, I got my license to ride about 20 years ago, and owned a few non Harley's for a few years. Bought my first Harley last year. It is a 2001 Sportster 1200. A small bike, but we like it.
We are now getting into becoming more active in the cycle scene, hence why we are doing our first poker run. We are also going to our first bike night on Friday and the week after we are doing another poker run. Both runs support charities we both like so we are looking forward to them.
Now I am just trying to talk her into a Road King!
Thanks for the advice everyone!

All of that being said, congrats again, and good luck on the poker runs!

Also look for the riders who aren't very good at riding and stay away from them. If you're drinking a lot of water or soda head to the bathroom as soon as you stop. Those bathroom lines can get out of hand and you don't want to end up at the end of a 30 minute line.
Another piece of advice is if you do happen to wind up with the winning hand it's never a bad thing to donate your winnings to the charity involved. It's about the ride and raising money, not scoring extra cash.
