New to motorcycling and my first bike choice was/is 2003 Sporty 883. Laid it down in the grass my first day out. No signs of damage but none of my lights work. Fuses look good, connections look good. If the headlight went bad due to impact would cause the other lights to go out also? Are they tied in somehow? Any suggestions besides "don't crash"?

Hey we all crash.
Does the horn work, everything else work, bike runs starts ok?
Do you have a volt meter or a 12v ice pick current tester, pull out the light fuse and see if you have juice one side of the fuse receptacle.
No having the headlight out will not kill the rest of the lights.
Something has come loose, go through all your connectors and make sure they are together.
Does not hurt to pull them apart use some contact cleaner and put some dielectric grease to keep them from corroding in the future.
Do you have a schematic and know how to read it?
