OK now we all know the arguments for each method, it's OK the post the reason why you voted the way you did and your reasoning , but PLEASE do not respond to someone else's post whether you agree or disagree with their opinion, no heated arguments, in this thread there is no right or wrong. The main purpose of this poll is to just get a feel for the percentages.

Can't vote. You left no option for both. Sometimes I stay in gear and sometimes I like to be in neutral. Depends on the intersection and the length anticipatied for the light.
But if it's a long light... I'll pop it up into 2nd... and then back to 1st... and then into 2nd... and then back to 1st... and then into 2nd... and then back to 1st... and then into 2nd... and then I click it down into neutral... at which time i realize the light changed 5 seconds ago and everybody is pulling away.

Truth in posting. Gotta love it. I voted to leave it in gear, as that is what I usually do. If I'm stopped at a long light AND there is already a four wheeler stopped behind me, I may* shift into neutral to give the left hand a break for a minute.

That reminds me, I usually click it into neutral as I'm coasting in. Much easier to hit N when it's rolling.
