Default Alive and well

Wife lost her glasses while flying down the highway. Well we pulled over to look for them. First bike to come past stopped to see if we needed any help. Then a second bike did the same thing. Nice to know bikers , riders ,posers what ever else you want to call em. Still have the decency to help out a fellow biker on the side of the road . The biker bond is still alive and well.

Glad to hear! We always at least make sure they are ok. We slow down and if they give us a nod or are talking on the cell phone then we know they are ok!

flag me down if you need help...it is amazing how many clowns stop for a cigarette or cell phone break on the side of the road.

Nice! Rode 50+ miles through the Pine Barrens in NJ this afternoon, at least one bike for each cage I saw. No one needed help, though I was ready...

Ouch! You might want to get that cord that goes on the ear pieces next time.

Yesterday I saw something come flying from my friends bike, I thought it was her phone so I pulled over in a hurry to go find whatever it was. I was barely off my bike when I saw another bike pulling in behind me. I walked down the highway and found her wallet in the road. It took a bit but she noticed I wasn't with her and came back. The mystery biker waited until I got back to my bike to depart. I thanked him for stopping.

I chalk it up to the aforementioned biker bond as well as chivalry. He saw a female pull over quick and he stopped.

I stop for almost every bike I see on the side of the road or standing around in a parking lot if it looks like they're examining the bike in certain ways, but two days ago the weirdest thing happened...

I was coming home from town on a 55 mph hiway and was coming up on a road that turns off from it. At the stop-sign to come out onto the hiway was a guy and woman on a trike. As soon as he saw me he started waving wildly with one arm but with this huge smile on his face. His girlfriend/OL simply waved like doing one of those biker waves.

I had no clue if the guy needed me to stop or if he was just happy he got a new trike or bj from his OL or what the hell. I decided not to stop and turn around as there's not many spots on that hiway in that particular area to do so anyway. It's going to be one of those things that'll sorta bug me for a long time, wondering if I screwed up and didn't stop and he needed help or he screwed up by getting stupid happy with the biker wave thing (which, btw, I never do).
