The Fast Aire is great. I've got the 7" med-tint gray Areo. It has reduced buffeting and wind noise. It's really nice to be able to look over the shield.
Wife said she has noticed a bit more buffeting. But that wasn't until two weeks after I told her I changed windshields. She never noticed. The Fast Aire trim is nice too. I wanted smooth to help with bug gut removal.
My brother tried a stock shield from a SG and the HD Windsplitter. But he also opted to order the Aero in dark tint.
7" Clearview. Looks like the one above. Pretty happy with it. 5'11" and it gets everything over my head. Not much to compare it to other than my 4" shorty......
I just picked up a dark tint 7" LRS ultra, buffeting & wind noise have been greatly reduced. They were running some kind of special when I got mine about a week ago. $75 shipped, seems like a quality piece & I received it quickly. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with any of the companies you've listed.
Coin toss...I went with LRS and am very pleased with the shield quality. Hold off for one of his sales = great deals! Hit a prehistoric bug in IA a few weeks back and no issues w/scratching, or gut remnants. Washed right up...
LRS has the Ultra and the Ultra Elite The Elite has a very scratch resistant glass coating but cant be polished if need be, Where as the Standard Ultra does not have as good as a coating but can be polished if need be...................I dont really know to much about the Fastaire's but they sure do look the same as the LRS Im not sure about the tints though? I dont want Black tint but do want a dark smoke tint
Our current sale for Ultra's and Ultra Elite's will be ending tonight at midnight. Let me know if you miss out on it and want to try one of ours. I'll happily honor our sale price if you do indeed miss out. Feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns.
