Mostly aloneorwith the better half on the back. Group rides a few times a year are a fun change but lots more work and worry about the others riding in the group. I found that the bike has really cut my beer drinking down. Where i used to have a few mowing the lawn or working in the yard now I don't because the goal is to get it done and go riding. I may haveone along the way on a dinner ride but that's the max.

another vote for alone have a couple of small groups I ride with on occasion but most groups scare the hell out of me other than that my son and I will ride sometimes we both ride a little more agressive than most. so we have to keep from running over group riders also slow groups wear me out maybe I am just old and grumpy????

I prefer to either ride alone or with my 1 riding buddy i have. We have the same riding style and can easily tell what the other wants to do. As for riding with somebody i don't know i won't do it.

I prefer to Ride.

I have some real close bro's that we do a few set "runs" each year.

One is the PA Grand Canyon, another is Mikeys BBQ, at least one run to the dragon for a weekend, Sturgis, and a fall run down and upthe skyway.

All told there are around18 bikes once we get together, but we all have rode together for years and know each others abilities.

The only real "structure" to those runs are the trip to and back. Once we hit the campground, you can ride with a group(normally 2 or 3 will plan something), or take off alone.

But after the day is done is when we all get together, party and swap lie...er...stories.

SinceI belong to the PGR,I also do the Parade style rides. They can get a bit nerve racking, but the reason we are there out weighs that. And if you ever really want to see something "different", checkout about 100 bikes with American Flags Flying, riding in a procession.
Now thats a sight to see.

I also can just plant my butt in the seat, headout the driveway, and turn left or right, and just ride.

I'm thinking that the barhopping went a long way in contributing to the erratic riding....just stupidity in my opinion. I also love riding alone.

I ride either alone or with someone...but rarely with someone...I don't have any friends that ride, so it's usually just me or me and the wife...
Don't blame you for getting annoyed though, drunk, erratic riders can even shorten your life.
