Default Changing Front Pads

What socket is needed to take the two bolts out that are holding in the disc brake pads on a 2001 Harley Sportster? Any tips for changing them. Have searched Youtube and nothing.
Thanks.

you will need one 10 mm twelve point socket /to remove caliper from fork/ and 1/4 inch
twelve point socket to remove pins holding pads.

Quite often the smaller set of sockets are 6 point. Most box wrenches are 12 point. What I use on my Softail. Note that some of these 12 point bolts are metric, so be careful. Depends on year and brakes.

Thats the answer there. I just bought a 10mm 12 point from sears for $2.99 two weeks ago but had to order it because it wasn't in stock.
