Power Commander is here...I need a map

For a bike with stage one big sucker a/f and some short Vance and Hines pipes. I guess the same as short shots will do okay as I don't see sideshots on their website. This afternoon is time for installation and adjustment. It is the IIIr model, not the usb. Any tips?

I'm not familiar with the IIIr...
mine is a IIIusb.

For a starting point you could try

If baffles are in
805-022
805-025

If no baffles
805-023
805-026

compare them and see how they look, load one and take'er out fer a smoke test

failing that its a crap shoot without a known good map or a dyno.

Where did you buy the PCIII?

You can contact Jamie at FuelMotoUSA and he'll probably have one in his library.

Try Power commanders web site, they list two maps 04 Softail with V&H Sideshots, try this link and look for map 805-184 and 805-186 It may not be exactly what you want but itmight be close enough for a starting place.
(Try these if you are running the stock ECU, if the ECU has the stage 1 flash then you might try Harleywoods suggested map.)
