What is it with people that freeze up and block any exit path when
then cut off a bike? I have a friend who was almost killed by a jerk
who not only cut in front of him, but stopped in the lane blocking any
chance my friend had to exit. If he had just kept going, my friend would
have been able to miss him totally..
That's a double *** up on the drivers part!!
People freeze up because their natural instinct is to slam on the brakes in a panic stop. Once they do that it may have limited your options. Anticipate, anticipate anticipate. Always try and place yourself in a lane position that would give you options. Not always possible but if you plan ahead it may save your life or limb.
