They only post results & not the underlying data from their "4000" subjects. Anyone who's taken a business statistics course knows these so called consumer survey entities can "skew" data to show what they want the public to see. I'm guessing the jap bike manufacturers funded this study...
If they'd made two categories, maintained by dealer, and maintained by owner, I'd bet the maintained by owner for Harleys would have been much better. Not that dealers can't do good maintenance, but too many folks don't bother till something breaks. Do it yourselfers tend to get real particular about even little things. Probably on the other brands, too.
