Just added a Zumo 665 with XM weather and traffic. Couldn't find a place to mount the hockey puck antenna that made it non-obtrusive so I made one at the machine shop that uses two of the windshield mount screws.

Garmin Zumo 660 with fairing mount and Iron Cross Rear Aux Jack. It has given me issues twice with routing me wrong and taking me through private areas but it did fine when I was in DC. I would recommend it.

I'm still in the last century.
I use a paper map and my deinition of GPS is.....
G = gas
P = pee
S = stretch
and sometimes we add a burger and milkshake into the stop.
see ya and ride safe.

I use the cheapest Garmin (4???)from Sam's club, about $100 with lifetime map updates. It connects to HD ride planner and was easy to download the routes. What do you get if you pay more?

I've been using a Nuvi 760 for several years and am happy with it. I did change the battery 2 years ago. I've now got the power cord hardwired on the bike so no more battery problems. Just this weekend it took me to 17 lighthouses in NJ.

Smug self satisfaction? My first motorcycle didn't cost what some of these things go for.

Rand McNally road atlas and some common sense. I still cant grasp the concept of a needing a GPS to tell me how to go a couple hudred miles. Ive drove big trucks cross country the better part of 25 years with nothing more than a map and a phone number to call and get directions. Just me I guess but when I ride I dont need to be bothered by a bunch of gadgets on bike.

$3.99 pin-on compass. No batteries, not bothered by rain.
Never been more than $3.99 worth of lost.
