Got some chaps. Wasn't too sure about them for a while and finally broke down and bought a pair. Mine fit a bit loose in the upper thigh while sitting on the bike and I'm getting some wind in, and its defeating one of the purposes for wearing them.
Anyone else experience this?---Mine are from Fox Creek--custom made sizing.

I just got my new chaps at Bike Week, Daytona Beach, 1991, in some shop not far from the Boot Hill Saloon. They are adjustable in the upper thigh area and at least I can still wear them. Theirquality is not very good as I have had to replace the bottom snaps and zipper pulls and I only have about 150K miles on them.

They should be snug when sitting. They will strech a little after time, except maybe in Snobal's case...are you sure your chaps are shrinking
Mine have a little bit of elastic at the inner thigh, so if they strech or I shrink/expand it will accomedate
