Still need to warm up the engine at least a little and take it easy on the throttle until the engine and drive train is warmed up. (Unless you like replacingbase gaskets.)
Pegasus: The first truly rider adjustable electronic fuel injection system. $1,995.
Includes throttle body, air filter, fuel pump, petcock, pick-p assembly, coil and CD.
The cost and work would not be worth it. There is no way that it could easily be done. You have a ton of parts that you have to find places to mount like fuel pump, oxygen sensors, throttle body, ecm, etc. etc. etc.
If you don't like the enricher, then get an automatic enricher. It will be a lot cheaper and easier then trying to go to EFI.
NO. I know guys who have switched the other way. Carbs rule! FI sucks, no power, expensive to tune. One senser goes out and your stuck.
How narrow minded
I'm not here to bash carbs because they do work well, but to say that FI sucks is rediculous.
They are more efficient.
As for no power, both carb and FI bikes are restricted from the factory, both need to be properly tuned, but FI IS more expensive due to the fact that you can tune it to every throttle position and RPM range to get max performance. A jet change can't do that.
There are also plenty of electronics on a carb bike that can fail just as easily as a FI.
I also just start and go, with no base gasket issue. what's that about?
