Plat top pistons for 06 vs 07 softail 88 efi
I was hoping that some of you more knowledgeable buds could shoot me some advise. I am fixin to have Big Boys do a 95 BB kit for my 88. I want to use cast pistons because I don't want to deal will the warm up slop associated with forged pistons, and I am not building a high RPM engine. I bought a set of sreamin eagle flat tops off of a guy. They are brand new and he told me they will work. I looked up the number on top of the piston, and they are for an 07. I have been trying to figure this out but not having much luck. V-twin forum guy said they are fine for my 06 but the specs said for the 07 style crank. Anybody out there have a good answer on this. I would appreciate the info.
