Default Rant: 2014 Touring & handlebars

Dear Harley-Davidson:

Why the hell did you feel the need to change the clamp/bar size on 2014 Touring models from 1.25" diameter to 1.5"?
Way to go, making it not only break from the universally accepted "standard" size, but now your *OWN* bars that used to fit Road King and Road Glide bikes as well as ALL THE OTHER MODELS YOU MAKE.....Don't.

What I find even funnier is that the one set of HD-made bars you have listed for a 2014 Road King.....are 1.25" and come with a replacement clamp!
Seriously? You're own accessory guys are saying how retarded that was to do? And why? For what purpose was it changed? NONE.

Whoever decided to do this needs to be smacked in the back of the head. With a baseball bat.

is it 1" vs 1.25" instead of 1.25" vs 1.5"???
I can never remember & suck at measuring diameters.

But I put the bars in the stock clamps & there's a 1/4" space left.

Yes, 1" and 1.25". I think a 1.25" would be considered a nice up-grad. You might want to calm down just a little. Life is very short.

1 1/4" bars are way nicer than 1" bars. Are they putting 1 1/4's on the Kings from the factory now? The 1" bars always looked like bug antennaes to me on a King.

I don't even own a 2014 Tourer, yet I am visibly shaken by this.
