Schott NYC letdown

I bought a Schott cowhide biker jacket back in about 1955. I still wear it some and other than the lining is gone after my kids all wore it, it is still in good shape. I still remember the day I walked into Montgomery Wards to get it. I think it was $16.00. I have worn it for work, hunting, and biking, My wife had a new zipper put in it for me a few years ago as it was getting bad. I weigh about the same as I did then so it fits real well yet, and when I put it on I feel like I did when I was 15 again. Takes me back to the days when I would fire up my old 1942 "45" flat head and go for a ride before school.

When I was a Sr. in highschool I weighed 185, and was 6'1", but it was all muscle from working on farms during the summer bucking hay bales mostly and playing foot ball during school. I weigh 180 now but it is distributed a little different at 73 years old. LOL

My Schott letdown is that I can't find a 141 that fits me properly. I've bought a couple tall and regular, but for some reason I can't find the right combination of length and snugness (it would be nice to actually go to a place with good inventory). They're beautifully made, but I'd hate to send in my measurements for a custom and be stuck with it one that fits worse than my cheaper off the rack stuff.
