Yes, I know this could be in the exhaust section, but I wanted more exposure.....
Anyone have any experience with the Vance & Hines Q series Double Barrel? Must be new as it's listed on V & H's site as "Available March 2007", but Eastern Performance already has them. Here's the propanganda pitch:
Quieter, standard. That's what the Q series is all about. But we didn't forget about the rest of the features. 100% blue-proof technology with 220 degree head pipe and muffler heatshields. Our proprietary Power Chamber technology for the right horsepower and torque gains all the way through the power band. Slash cut ends to finish off the look.
I want something above stock in depth, tone, and volume but not sure I want Big Radius or Big Shot Staggered loud....I have an e-mail into them to see if they have a db comparison.
They are the same as the discontinued H-D SE 16 ga Double Barrel exhaust. I have the SE 16's on my bike and like them very much. They are, indeed, louder than stock and quieter than other pipes...like the V&H Big Shots.
They are pretty mellow at idle (still louder than stock) and sound good when you throttle up.
